Accredited SchemeCalderdale Walk It Together - Yorkshire and Humber

Walk it aims to increase walking both recreationally and as a mode of transport into and within the Town Centre and also within the Park, Ovenden, mixenden and Illingworth communities.  The scheme consists of three main strands:

  1. Walk it together
  2. Walk it yourself
  3. Walk it to town

 

Our walks

July - September 2010

MONDAY'S

Ovenden - 1.00pm
Meet outside Beechwood Medical Centre, Keighley Rd, Fortnightly (5th & 19th July, 2nd & 16th August, 6th & 20th September)

TUESDAY'S

Mixenden - 10.30am
Meet at Mixenden Stones Surgey

Central Halifax - 2.00pm    
Meet at St John's Health Centre, Lightowler Rd (Ladies only please) 

WEDNESDAY'S

Mixenden - 9:30am 
Meet at Mixenden Parent's Resource Centre, Stanningley Rd

THURSDAY'S

Manor Heath Park - 10:30am
Meet outside Flutter Bites Cafe in the centre of the park (Next to the jungle experience)

FRIDAY'S

Boothtown - 2.00pm
Meet at woodside Surgey, Woodside Road

Thursday 14th October       1.00pm

Led walk and Fungus Forage at Jerusalem Farm

Plus grow your own mushroom workshop and healthy mushroom recipes!

Transport will be provided from central and north Halifax
