Worcester University is acting as a venue for folks that want to come together and do some healthy walking and socialising. We are using the astro-turf track here at UofW where people come along and walk laps at their own pace, either on their own, in pairs or groups. Expert advice is available to help you to learn how to walk at the right and healthy pace for you.
All are welcome every Wednesday morning from 9:30 am. We currently have 86 active members ranging from quadruple heart by-pass patients to apparently healthy 30 year olds, from as far away as Malvern and Evesham. We have British Association for Cardiac Rehabilitation accredited staff and all necessary first aid cover to make the environment a safe and enjoyable introduction to the best mode of gentle exercise.
