Eden walking group - South West

Last updated 07 May 2009
The scheme was originally set up by Cornwall PCT. in conjunction with the Eden Project and the core fitness group, but is now being coordinated by volunteer walk leaders. it caters for people with c.o.p.d.

Our walks

We meet at Eden every Tuesday at 10.00 a. m, walkers are graded according to ability and put into groups. Each group has its own walk leader. Available to us are various graded walks depending on ability and how people feel on the day. If it is raining we walk inside the temperate dome where again we have graded walks. The programme is for people with c.o.p.d. and associated lung diseases. We are in radio contact with Edens medical team if any problems should arise.
