Southampton: Healthy Walks - South East

Last updated 03 August 2008

Our walks

Healthy walks in Southampton's parks and open spaces

Walking is one of the best ways in which you can become more active. It is easy to do, free and you do not need any special equipment . One of the best things about it is that everyone can take part and enjoy it together.

Leaflets of walks have been made up and are available from Civic Offices, health centres and the library.

If you are having trouble getting started, a number of led walks are available (led walks are set walks at set times, designed for groups and hosted by trained walk leaders). These walks can provide help for those who feel insecure or lack confidence to take the crucial first steps.
