Our project is about encouraging people to become more active and we've found that walking is a great way to do this. It's fun, sociable and free!
Our walks
We presently run two walks:-
Milford Walk every Friday morning at 10:15 Starting at the Milford-on-sea Community Centre, Sea Road, Milford-on-sea, SO41 0PH
Mayfield Walk every Wednesday morning at 11:00am Starting at the Mayfield Nursery Mayfield Park, Weston Lane, Southampton, SO19 9HL
Both walks are circular routes lasting approx 1 hour and covering around 2 miles at a gentle pace. Starting and finishing in a friendly cafe, perfect for refreshments and a chat after a pleasant walk.
Events
For walkers who like to go a little further we are organising 4 walks in the New Forest over the coming months
These walks are around 5 miles long and take approx 2 hours.
The walks follow a circular route starting and finishing on the green opposite the Royal Oak Pub Fritham, SO43 7HJ.
