As part of "Waverley's Walks for Health" scheme (in conjunction with DC Leisure) we provide free organised walks with trained leaders around Haslemere and the adjacent countryside
Weekly Walks leave from: Haslewey Community Centre, Lion Green, Haslemere, GU27 1LD (on left of approach road to Tesco) on: Tuesdays at 2:30pm and Saturdays at 11:00am
High Lane Community Centre, Weycombe Road, Haslemere, GU27 1EL (near St Bartholomew's Parish Church) on: Thursdays at 1:00pm - these weekly walks are extra to those shown on the attached Leaflet
All are welcome - just come with comfortable shoes and suitable clothing, allowing 10 minutes for registration
All walks last between 40mins to 1 hour and are approximately 2 to 3 miles long

Saturdays during July and August will include Away Walks to some of the beauty spots near Haslemere, provided that weather is suitable etc (walk leaders on the day make final decision and where to walk). Registration as normal at Haslewey prior to leaving at 11am prompt.
Walk Leader Training - Andy Sharman (Haslemere Walk Leader and Paramedic) held a successful Walk Leader Training Day in July, and hopes to do another in 2010 in the Autumn (venue and date tba, but within the Waverley area).
