Last updated 15 July 2010

Improve your fitness, make new friends and enjoy your local area. We have walks for all ages and abilities during the daytime, evening and also at weekends. We now have over 350 people a week "Walking for Health" in Basingstoke and the surrounding areas - do join us!

Our walks

We have daytime walks every weekday and a very popular Wednesday evening walk for those who like a faster walk. We also have longer walks at weekends once or twice a month.

Please have a look at our website for the most up to date info..www.basingstokehealthwalk.org

If you are just beginning to exercise more do come along to our Monday morning walk for beginners. Meet at 11am at the Boathouse at Eastrop Park in the town centre for a gentle stroll of about 50-60 minutes with others.

We are expanding our health walks to our more rural areas -

Tadley - 1st Friday of the month from Tadley Library at 1.30pm and 3rd Friday of the month from Tadley Pool at 1.30pm

Kingsclere - 1st Wednesday of the month at 10.30am - a gentle stroll for those new to exercise.  Meet in the Square.

Whitchurch - meet every Wednesday morning at 10am at the Gill Nethercott Centre in Winchester Street for a walk of about an hour, followed by refreshments. Free parking and toilets at the centre.

Wednesday evenings - a brisk walk for those who want to get a bit fitter. The walks start from a different place each week so please look at the website www.basingstokehealthwalk.org for the latest details.

Please see our new website www.basingstokehealthwalks.org.for information about all our walks and volunteering opportunities. - thankyou.
