Our walks

We now have a selection of 20 different walks across Tendring.  Led walks are available on Tuesdays, Thursdays & Saturdays starting at 11.00am. With a very informal and friendly group of walkers & dedicated, reliable walk leaders.
All routes are well researched and assessed for safety, ease of use and interest.
Everybody and anybody is welcome, children (accompanied by a parent or carer), dogs, wheelchairs & buggies (on selected routes only).

Strong links established with the local Cardiac Rehab Clinic, Diabetes Awareness Clinics, Smoking Cessation service, Exercise Referral Scheme, Gp's, Practise Nurses, Community Services and the District Council.

All the walks are carefully graded so that our walkers are quite clear which ones are suitable for them.

All Walk leaders receive WfH training, First Aid training and undergo a CRB check.  The safety of our walkers is paramount.

The walks range from 1 mile to five miles and vary in their demands on the walker. We have led walks along coastal stretches, through rural settings, riverside and bridleways, something for everybody.
Many of our regular walkers provide transport for those who do not own a car; we do our best to ensure that people don't have to miss out due to transport difficulties.
