Our walks

LETS WALK HINCKLEY

We meet every Wednesday morning at 10:30am at the Visitor Centre, Burbage Common. The walks are open to everyone but not suitable for pushchairs or wheelchairs. We have refreshments in the visitor centre afterwards.

There are 4 different graded walks; slow, medium (2) and up to 4 miles.

About 60 - 70 people walk every week and there are 4 trained walk leaders.

LETS WALK BOSWORTH

Let's Walk Bosworth is set in the beautiful area around Market Bosworth including Bosworth battlefield and Bosworth water park.

Everyone is welcome regardless of fitness levels

There are 2 walks, short and long starting at 10-00am every Tuesday, meet at Rectory Lane Car Park, Market Bosworth CV13 0LJ

The longer walks not only take place around the Bosworth area but also take place in surrounding areas. Residential walks are also arranged at various times of the year.


Let's Walk Barwell

A new walk that is part of the Hinckley & Bosworth walks scheme. The walk enables people to increase their physical activity levels whilst enjoying the company of others. 


Let's Walk Barwell meet every Friday at 11-00am at Barwell Methodist Church, Barwell, LeicsLE9 8DE for a short walk around the Barwell area. This walk is for all regardless of fitness levels. Come and meet new friends and enjoy a cup of tea/coffee afterwards


Let's Walk Groby

The walk begins at Groby Village Hall, Groby, Leicestershire LE6 ODJ every Thursday at 10-00am.

The walk is for all regarding their fitness levels

Active Together is a countywide programme that aims to encourage adults aged 16+, to become more active more often.

There are Physical Activity Development Officers across Leicestershire (based at the Local Authorities) who are there to help you become more active. Each district has a programme of regular activities.
