We are a new scheme walking on the 1st, 2nd and 4th Thursday of each month at 10:00am around the Clowne and Barlborough area of North East Derbyshire/Yorkshire. We have 2 walk leaders who are dedicated to the walking for health ethos, but would welcome people who wish to train as walk leaders as the group increases. We also hope to have days out on coaches to other areas of interest to walk and have picnic lunches or a pub lunch - whichever each member requires.

Our walks
Our walks are graded as easy, moderate or strenuous. All the walks start at 10.00am from Tesco Cafe, Tesco Supermarket, Clowne, Derbyshire, S43 4BH.
We are walking initially on the 1st, 2nd and 4th Thursday of each month. Our lower grade walks are suitable for people of lower fitness levels. We will sometimes tailor the walks to the abilities of the attendees.
We always try to stop for a refreshment/comfort stop about halfway round the walk at a cafe, coffee shop or public house.
